Oral Anti-Cancer Medication as a Possible Alternative?

Oral Anti-Cancer Medication as a Possible Alternative?

I hated myself for knowing this too late, and hope every pet parents have a chance to know about this medication "Palladia" before its too late if your pet has cancer or tumor. This possible alternative could be more affordable and less invasive compare to chemotherapy or radiation?

If your pet has unfavorable prognostic factors such as metastasis (ie. cancer spread), when surgery or other forms of therapy are not possible or if pet parents wish to try an oral anti-cancer medication to be given at home. It maybe worth asking your veterinarian about "Palladia".

Most of the veterinarians don't know about this medication but an oncologist will know about it definitely. Since, it is not a chemotherapy drug, it can be prescribed by an ordinary veterinarian but you will have to persuade him or her to write you a prescription. (A generic version can be found in Chewy.com as well)

We are putting two linkages below to the website of "The Pet Oncologist" and a PDF file from "The Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center Oncology Service" explaining "What is Palladia?". For your information. I printed out a copy of their FAQS and took them to my veterinarian before he was willing to write me the precription for my two cats*.
